In an effort to clear space in my storage, I'm gonna start a series of art posts in which I showcase some drawings I don't see myself finishing

"Week 7 Looks Different" - August 2021

This is the drawing I was gonna introduce my Newgrounds account with, but I lost motivation and ended up not finishing it. The drawing was a sort of showcase of characters I enjoy, with half of them originating (or just having deep connections) on Newgrounds.

• Suction Cup Man climbing the sniper tower; someone was going to be in the tower but at this point I forget who I was gonna put in there.
• Lance driving around in his tank(minus the tank); while I didn't play the Epic Battle Fantasy games on Newgrounds (I played on Armor Games) they definitely got a lot of their fans from here.
• Bowser Jr. and Hero B (Zenura) are on the non-drawn boombox so they're just kinda... floating there. Two characters that mean a lot to me that I'd like to bring more representation to.
• The "Opponent" of this drawing is supposed to be me with a Tankman helmet; I thought of drawing a full on Tanksona with the whole uniform but gave up and drew the outfit I usually depict myself with.
• The "Challenger" is Teruteru Hanamura; Between him, Jr, and Zenura he's the most likely to sing so he has that spot.
• The Audience from left to right: Eric Cartman, an Inkling Girl, Isaac (tboi), Phil Eggtree from Riddle School; the uncolored figure at the end I believe was going to be Flipp, the protagonist from the game Math and Magic (which I also didn't play on Newgrounds but learned it is on here so its fair game)

I have various ideas for Friday Night Funkin' skin mods but never got around to finishing any. If I did go back to this I would probably add Zeta from Flick Club in the audience.

Dunno if you folks on Newgrounds really care but figured I answer this question. It's... complicated. The simplest answer is that I stopped browsing Tumblr regularly to give myself time for other things (mainly Newgrounds as the xp system gives me incentive to browse here more). Another reason is that I feel like my Original Content doesn't really get much traction on there; which is probably due to how rare I post OC and mostly use my blog for reblogging stuff. There's a third thing too but I'm not really sure how to describe it...

I guess kinda like Deviantart it has gone from a site I used to visit all the time to one i rarely visit at all (though with dA I do still visit on the occasion to favorite art I find). Though just like I said in my post on there, I'd rather have a rotting corpse than delete my account entirely.

I've posted my Backpack Hero art and queued a few posts on there. That's at least something.

I feel like making a new post instead of editing my old one. Previews within for some of the things I'm working on. Anything mentioned in the previous post that isn't mentioned here has no new developments.

• Backpack Hero Fanart Contest - Unlike the EBF Anniversary contest, it was just a coincidence that I had fanart for this game in the works before they announced a fanart contest haha. I've been addicted to this game but was unable to back the Kickstarter so making fanart and telling people about the game is how I've been supporting it.

• One From Every Heroics - I'm continuing to chip away at this like usual; thinking of redrawing Wrestler C at some point but here's previews of some new ones:

My birthday was mostly uneventful; granted I also didnt feel like doing anything special for it.

Anyways, making a new post to give a list/timeline of sorts for upcoming art:

• Epic Battle Fantasy Anniversary Art Contest - Now posted view here:

• One From Every Heroics - Will likely return after I'm done the EBF drawing; I keep going back to adjust proportions of existing characters so they fit in with eachother so I haven't started many new ones.
• Charcoal Characters - Not sure what to do with this series; might end up being a style I occasionally go back to at random.
• BluShroom's Redesign - Other than a few doodles I haven't really gotten anything to stick.
• Old Art - I'll repost old art when it's relevant or when I feel like it. Either way I'll try to keep a balance between old and new art.

• More M or A content - ...Maybe someday; thing is most of my stuff that would warrant these ratings are just sketches, doodles, or otherwise incomplete compared to my other work I've posted here. That and it's a lot of self-indulgent stuff of unpopular/niche characters so uh... yeah. (Sure the few refs to adult stuff I posted are from niche indie games but that's cause one of them is literally on Newgrounds and I don't have/want a Twitter account to post them to even if both devs are on Twitter).

welp the day is finally here

my first birthday since making my Newgrounds account.

My younger self finding out my birthday was "international weed day" didnt really go too smoothly.

At first I hated it because my birthday was overshadowed by "hurr durr weed"

Now i dont really care. Ironically I have never had any.

Today I posted some art I made back in the past for a character who also has a birthday today:

EBF... Epic Battle Fantasy... One of the first Flash game series I remember playing back in 2009-2010. It means a lot to me and I can't believe the series is gonna be 13 years old soon. One From Every Heroics is going to be put on hold because I plan on entering the fanart contest. This series was part of my childhood and I want to show my appreciation for it. I've been lurking on the Discord server for years now, being too scared to post art.

Unless I implode or something. This will be my first post on there.

I started sketching already so I could tease a little bit...

though speaking of birthdays there's ones coming up sooner than that...

I'm going to make a chibi drawing for each class in One Way Heroics, One Way Heroics Plus, and Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics (including classes in both games and Mystery Chronicle's crossover ones). I'll post them in batches on here, eventually putting them all in a huge group poster. Current group previews:

Criteria for who I pick to draw are:

• The design I use/like the most
• A design someone in the One Way Heroics Discord likes
• None of the recolors from Mystery Chronicle

For One Way Heroics/Plus, since their designs are less detailed I'll be lifting some ideas from the TRPG designs which can be found here.

There's some classes I haven't chosen which design to draw yet but I'll deal with that when I get the others done...

I've technically made a return to Tumblr, but also I haven't been visiting/posting on the site as much as I used to. I won't be abandoning my account there as there's still plenty of people I interact with on there, but I guess I feel bad about my return not being very triumphant. I suppose I could do a roundup post of the stuff I posted here but eh idk. I don't really have much of a following here on Newgrounds (yet) so I'm basically just rambling to myself.

I don't know much as this is still a new development, but maybe a better title would be: Apple shits on Tumblr. A large amount of my Tumblr browsing is through the iOS app, so when I do officially return I'll either have to tolerate that or change my browsing. Just like the ban of porn in 2018, this seems to be causing people to be driven away from the site. I made a lot of memories on Tumblr in my near decade on the site, so I don't think ill leave it quite yet. Theoretically if I did, I'd just become more active here lol.
