Pocky Teruteru - February 2020

Happy Pocky Day! The outfit is based on one I saw sent in a Discord chat a couple years ago that I decided to draw on Teruteru. Reason I never finished this one is cause of frustration with the pose, mainly Teruteru's left leg (which can be seen more in my digital sketches below). Unlike other WIPs I shared in the past I would go back to this one if I didn't already have so many others things to do.

The Usami picture hinted at it but this makes it more clear; yes I am attracted to this unpopular/controversial character. Those of you who have been on my Tumblr account probably already know that but this is the first time I publicly posted this image in particular. I've been restraining myself for the most part but who knows, I may share more publicly in the future if there's interest in it...

I planned on dressing up as Ooga Booga from Spooky Month this year. Unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts I couldn't.

So I drew it instead! Also featuring my Fall Guy wearing the Captain Redshift outfit as I chose that as their Halloween costume.

Also if you're thinking "Blu why don't you make an art thread in the forum?", it's cause I'm a chicken and really bad at social interaction. Yet I still crave it to some extent...

This is probably too soon after the post I made yesterday, but this post serves as a more general "sneak peak" to what I'm currently working on:

• One of my favorite outfits in Fall Guys is The Blunderdog. I'm working on a drawing as development for my Fall Guys OC. (10/9/22 - Shiny new preview wow)

• One From Every Heroics is probably still on hiatus; I haven't had a drive to return to it yet but who knows.
• The Epic Battle Fantasy Discord server is hosting a Monster/Enemy-centric Halloween Art contest; not sure if I'll enter yet but I do have a basic idea on what I would draw for it.
• I've thought of going back to my pixel art (specifically those seen in the Pixel Art Assortments) and adding more detail to them; reason I didn't in the first place is to make it easier to make variants but also they may look better if I added more shading and such.
• There's a handful of works I made in the past that I could still upload here; mainly school assignments I made a couple years ago.

Happy Spooky Month!

I am putting this project on hiatus until further notice. Progress has been slow because of a combination of burnout and other issues irl taking up my time.

To tide things over, I'm gonna share this screenshot of every class that's being covered in this project:

It wasn't until I looked at this again, I realized I'm over the halfway mark! Blank squares are labeled with what Type (A, B, or C) I intend on drawing but may possibly change in the future.

Not Dr. Mario World / Blu's Nurse Land - Summer 2019

Look, I get it. You're tired of-



A series that got its name from Alpharad's "Not ____" videos, sometimes I'll draw random characters in a game/setting as a form of self-indulgence. This one was based on Dr. Mario World, the now defunct Dr. Mario mobile game. I was going to make a large collage of various characters suddenly turned doctors. Only a few were completed with a couple other pencil drawings included below:

Update: I found out it's also Live a Live's 28th anniversary today so I made this quick little doodle of Cube and Teruteru

Yotsuba redraw - February 2020

I partially teased this one on my Deviantart page a while back (coincidentally in the same post I announced I was abandoning the Miitopia picture I mentioned in my last News post here on Newgrounds) but never got around to finishing due to struggling with scale/perspective. I saw someone else's version of this on Newgrounds recently which reminded me of mine.

Blu's Miitopia - June 2018/July 2019

A group picture of the main cast of my Miitopia (3DS) playthrough, one for each job including the job changes of the main character during the story. I pushed to finish this for a while but never did. My Deviantart page has a post about it with more detail here. With the release of Miitopia on the Switch I thought of revisiting the idea again with my new team though it risks suffering the same fate as this project.
