After not touching it for about 3 months, I finally went back to that Fall Guys fanart I started back in October. Here's some new previews:

Other than working on this again, I may also return to One From Every Heroics soon-ish. It all depends on how stuff irl goes...

Fall Guys OC Fanart: The picture of my Fall Guy getting ready to go compete that I have shared previews of in the past. The current state of the game has me conflicted on my motivation to finish this piece to be honest. There's this second part of the drawing I'm debating on scrapping from the final image (though I do like the pose):

I wanted to draw something nicer to look at than a bunch of pink sticky notes to commemorate the self-indulgent misadventures in L4D2 modding I've done recently. The posing has been difficult to get down. And guns. I hate drawing guns.

One From Every Heroics: Still on Hiatus. I have to get used to drawing in that style again. As a reminder, there's still some classes I'm not sure which design to draw so I'm up for suggestions.

Posting of Old Stuff: I still have some art from previous class assignments and whatnot I could post here. It would add more traditional art to my page, in a similar vein to:

Other Incomplete Art: There's plenty of stuff still on my backburner but time will tell whether I go back to it or make another "Digging Through WIPs" post about it instead.

I did mention porting the "Digging Through WIPs" series to my Tumblr blog, though I feel like it wouldn't be worth the effort for the few people who would see it within the sea of reblogs I do.

Blu's Miitopia Encore - (Sept/Oct 2021)

I was very excited for Miitopia's port on the Switch. I attempted to do another group picture to go along with this, but it unfortunately met the same fate as the last one. I have a problem with making too many drawing ideas and never finishing them. Instead of holding onto this one like I did the old one, I'm going to drop it now. Below are some pictures from what I have completed, which is not too much. I'll provide in-game screenshots as well for reference.

Team Greenhorne - Pop Star Alyx, Chef Teruteru, Warrior Zenura, Mage Cartman

Team Greenhorne is near identical to the one I had on the 3DS. The main difference is I chose to start with Pop Star instead of Warrior, with Zenura using the job instead. I'm the most incomplete cause I wasn't sure what outfit to wear. This group is the most complete overall; the others have incompleted sketches let alone lineart.

Team Neksdor - Imp Alyx, Cleric Isaac, Scientist Azul, Thief Inkling Girl Iris

Previously, I had Imp Tweek in my party as a reference to South Park Phone Destroyer. This time around I reduced the amount of South Park characters in my party as my interest in the show was low (and the show itself I didn't have any ideas on who else to have as Imp so I took it. Azul was in my 3DS run (back before she had a real name and I just refereed to her as "The Blue One"), but I promoted her to main party this time around. Iris was in the Greenhorne group on 3DS, but she got moved to Neksdor to make room for Zenura.

Team Realm of The Fey - Flower Alyx, Tank Bowser Jr, Princess Yuma, Cat Lance

Bowser Jr. was a tank in my 3DS run. This time around I was going to make him a cat, referencing Nintendo finally giving us Meowser Jr. as a bonus for 100% completing Bowser's Fury. I accidentally misclicked and instead of going through the hassle of swapping the Mii designs, Bowser Jr. got to be a tank again and Lance got stuck with Cat. Yuma is a character from Zanki Zero I planned to use if I played a hard mode mod I found for the original 3DS game; before the Switch port was ever announced.

Team Extras - Horse Lucahjin, Vampire Pump, Elf Fairy Iris

One last set for the secret classes and the new addition to the Switch port, the horse companion. I wasn't sure who to have my horse reference at first; the idea of it being Lucahjin came from my mom. This drawing would have featured her VTuber self along with the Miitopia horse. As a bonus for reaching the end, here's a drawpile doodle of VTuber Lucah with the Greenhorne team:

Posting my unfinished projects like this is comforting in a way; It's a way to tell people what i've drawn. This also lets me feel less guilty about deleting files when I need to free up space on my computer.

I hope I don't let One from Every Heroics have the same fate as this one; One Way Heroics is a series that is way more niche, and drawing fanart is my way of spreading awareness of it.

Finally got off my lazy ass and posted it! Have been in a weird mental space that has involved a lot of social isolation, posting this in an attempt to break it. I can't keep living to blissful ignorance, but I'm also too afraid to face reality (which is a theme I used in December's pic). For the first time, I'm making a yearly art summary in one of those fancy templates! More specifically I'm using this one made by ghostgirl12606 on Deviantart:

Most of these pictures I've uploaded here; the few I haven't are nothing too special (mainly some Drawpile filler for months I didn't draw anything big). It would be weird if I used a dA template and didn't upload it to dA so I'll post that on there too. That way I can maybe redirect my dA watchers to here... Aditionally I have scheduled posts to go up on my Tumblr blog to give more detail on the art I picked for each month.

I've done art summaries since 2014, but never went through the effort of putting them in a nice graphic (or posting them publicly) like this. Usually I would just slapped together in a Google Doc table. Often I would go months without art so I didn't want to spend time on a fancy one if it was going to have multiple blank spaces.

With the debut of the Spongebob items in the Fall Guys store (more specifically the Imaginaaation emote) I got another drawing idea:

It looks pretty good right now (especially compared to the original doodle) but I have a bit more I want to add to it before I post it here. I want to allude more to the Spongebob reference. Not sure if I'll post this by itself or in another Drawpile collection. I haven't made one of those since the beginning of the year but I also been doing less Drawpiles so...
